I totally get it. It's definitely a challenge. But one of the things I like about this 100 Things approach is that we don't have to do it daily/consecutively. And, it gives us that goal to strive towards, regardless of things outside our control (subscribers, likes, comments, etc). Wishing you well and keep us posted. Would love to cheer you on! 💞

Thanks Shai, I’ve committed to reading/ writing for 100 days starting today x I believe in consistency over perfection so if I miss a day or two it’s okay 👌

Absolutely fantastic! I'm down for this because my head is a continual swirling dervish of ideas. Not to mention I'm a fire starter not a fire keeper. This could be very helpful.

I love this! I'm also someone who collects hobbies. I'm a fan of project-based learning because it puts boundaries on things and gives me something to show for all my work, just like you're talking about. The problem I've always run into is when I can't distill a hobby into a single project because it's ongoing, like writing on Substack. I'm going to try your method for hobbies like that. Here's to 100 Substack posts!

Aw, thanks for connecting and letting me know, Anna. I'm always pleased to hear from fellow multi-passionate creatives like you. You expressed it so well. 💗 I think that's why I decided to adopt this 'Quit or Do 100' approach. It has helped me to focus, without limiting me too much. Yes, we can embrace all our interests and enjoy them. Let me know if you do start your own 100 Things Project (100 Substack posts?). I'd love to be able to cheer you on! 🎉💞

Yes, there are so many fun things to try in this world! I think I will start a 100 Substack posts project. I've written 10 already, so just 90 more to go!

This is a great post! I have endless hobbies. Sometimes they stick and other times they don't. I'd like Substack to be something that sticks. I found you on Notes after someone restacked your 100 Things Project for Notes. I was so inspired and I'd like to do the same — 100 Notes. It's a good way to practise and get used to doing it. I've only written one and I also heard crickets. But I've only been here less than a week. I've been wanting to understand how Notes actually works. This is a great way to approach it to see if it does anything and increases your reach. Thanks so much for the inspiration! Just subscribed too! 🤗

Thank you soooo much for stopping by and connecting, Lauren. I appreciate you subscribing and letting me know that you're going to start your very own 100 Things Project using Substack Notes too. Here's hoping you get what you need from it. I find that doing this 'Quit or Do 100' approach is quite transformative. 💗💞Can't wait to hear how you go with it!

Love this idea, as someone who starts things and doesn’t finish them when it gets tough x I’ve taken so many courses and thinking this is the thing I can commit to and then the next shiny new thing grabs me x I’m feeling a bit like this with Substack x can I commit to writing for 100 days? Posting for 100 days? Reading for 100 days? I will ponder 🤔
